slightly brighter is much better! The variations are interesting. I'd like to see more progression on them. perhaps more contrast?

I do like the giraffe like pattern, but both are a bit too 'busy' if you know what I mean.
I would go for the regular green version unless you can tone down the pattern a bit to make it less 'in your face'.

Cheers mate - just did another update before the submission deadline. Used Xoliul's shader to render this piece (pretty darn useful). The model itself has been adjusted slightly and I also worked on the texturing a little more.

Excellent work Ibrahim! I love the finishing touches. The spec and surface bump are really conveying the feel of leather for me...and this is most definitely my favorite design in the batch

thanks you

here's the sculpted version of it

As you can tell, I'm still getting to grips with Mudbox, not the cleanest sculpt.

Why did you choose mudbox over zbrush?

That is a great sculpt. I am in the process of learning Mudbox, so I hope to use it on the next project. by the way, I was wondering if you ever thought of writing a walkthrough for this project. I will greatly help those of us just starting out. Just a thought!

Great work again.
