GAMC #1 - Mist

This will probably be the quickest entry ever. I just started today and I aim to finish on friday. I wasnt going to start it as it's near the deadline and I've other things to do, but I quite like the concept so I'm gonna give it a go. I know that I wont win and I may not even finish in time, but its worth a try.

As I'm giving myself such a short time I'm gonna stick to the concept almost 100%, and do alot of the normal map details in crazybump. To me, the concept looks very portal inspired, so im gonna continue that theme and have it quite clean and white but with black in-lines and rust stains.

Here the high poly atm. I've just started so it's not much.

uh, the IMG-tags were a bit weird so fixed em for ya, seems even imageshack got some problems itself though. Been quite a lot of that lately actually.

lol, imageshack is being a bit weird, I can't see it either. It's not that interesting tbh. Ill post an update tonight.

Ah, now it's showing, looking pretty true to the concept there. Since you have such a small amount of time left though, I'd prolly skip the inside, it's not needed for the entry to be valid.

So, keep it up! Seems this challenge turned out to be a speedchallenge too

I ended up finishing about 6pm last night and had to dash out to go from one side of london to the other. I was doped up on caffine and shaking trying to get this done in time . Alas I didn't quite finish it but im fairly happy with what I produced considering. Ive made my submission.
