Xoliul, you can access your graphics card's manufacturer to download the latest driver for it, and pray for the application to have customizeable 3d settings. Using these you can force all 3-d applications to use AA, and that includes MAX. Ironically I have MAX with AA on my laptop but not on my main computer.

Thanks guys, nice to read all your comments!
Talon, I deliberately kept it rather clean, but maybe it's a bit too much. I didn't really want it to look too weathered on the underside.
Yes this is DoylleShader®, but with special XoliulTweaks© I used it as a base because it does an excellent job at normals spec and gloss already. And yes it could run in a game like that, the 3DS Max DirectX viewport really isn't that different from the way a game engine draws its 3D.

And on the AA in 2009, well the driver override thing is what stopped working. Here's what Autodesk says on it:

If you use the nvidia DX driver (Maxtreme?) you will probably get AA back in the viewport with 3ds Max 2009. However, you will lose some of the really cool shadows and material effects that we introduced in 2008 and 2009.

In other words, they know, they don't exactly care, and there is no decent fix :/ On top of that those Maxtreme drivers are incredibly bugged and didn't even allow me to boot Max.

Looks like it'd fit right into GTA4!
Nice one
