Man, that looks bloody great. Brilliant texturing, and yet when I look at the maps they look so simple! Great texel density, I can't really see anywhere that is higher resolution than anywhere else, That's a big problem of mine. Well done.

Love the vehicle, no major crits..........great piece. I do have some questions though regarding it all.

I'm currently starting to build a few vehicles myself, and the results I've acheived have been maybe a little underwhelming.

Just wondering how long you spent on building and texturing this model in hrs?

Also interested in whether you built up a HP model for this, or ended up converting painted vehicle edge seams with a NM filter in PS? From your texture sheet I'm guessing it was mostly the latter, but with certain parts (wheels) a HP was built and baked down. Would love to know what you did here as I'm currently torn between the two as to what is the right direction for vehicles.

Presentation is great with the images as well, and seeing someone take the time to make a damaged variation is also outstanding.

I really like it, aside from the aforementioned light issue. The other thing that is odd is the front bumper in the destroyed version... Maybe it's the viewing angle, but it looks melted.

Nice work though!

If i will model it in determined time, it will be:
Modelling (LP all + HP wheels, optimization) ~ 3 working days
Unwrap ~ 1.5-2 days
Texturing ~ 4 days(all)

I don't like high poly, so in this model Normal for body is from the height map(preformed diffuse). Wheels normal map from High poly model (holes from the height map)
