H&k Mp5

Hi,
Here's my latest model, a H&K MP5, consisting of 4611 triangles* and
4 texture-maps, namely diffuse, normal, specular and opacity.

Crits'n'Comments please (-:

* full model. With the faces invisible in 1st person view deleted i've got a number around 3362 tris.

Loving it, amazing so much detail the texture adds to a model with so low tri count (compared to how smooth and great it looks).
The only thing I might comment on is the glass of the reflex sight from the players point of view - its pretty scratched up and if it will act as a sight you can aim through in a game you might want to consider making those scratches on the sight that pops up, if not no problem.

What size texture maps did you use? cause I think the detail is pretty awesome, I especially love the plastic and what you have done with the normal map there.

@Z-trooper:
Thx for commendation!
Yep, you're right, the glass is pretty f*** up in those renders. I had big trouble with vray on opaque surfaces. But for in-game the scratches and dust should be nearly invisible, I've applied them very careful and delicate (-,
I created the textures in 2k, also used 2k for rendering.

Some of the scratches look very much like squiggly brush strokes (flashlight, iron sight, hand grip). Also, the bullet & case look washed out in the renders. It's not so bad on the actual diffuse sheet though, so I'm not sure if that's vray or what.

Those minor crits said, it looks hella tight. Nice work mate.

Looks very nice but I think the clip should have the same ammount of damage as the rest of the model
