It is a great looking piece, there is one crit that comes to mind, is it just me or is there to much going on in the normal map in regards to the dirt and grime happening? Kind of seems like it's not looking like aircraft aluminum anymore but rather a softer type of material. Could just be me though. If I'm out of my mind and this is proper then well done cause it definitely pops and looks good.

It's absolutely gorgeous but showNOmercy is right, the nose cone and a few other areas look distinctly like aged limestone on an ancient Egyptian sculpture rather than metal. The lines on the plane look fine though and should remain the same.

This would be 100% flawless with toned down normal map on the gouged out surfaces (replace with dents maybe) and as you've mentioned, it would look really cool with some specular here and there. The propellers and the edges around glass bits should pop with some highlights.

It's still so impressive that it stands up on its own well enough to demonstrate that you can model and texture very very well. So it's your call if you want to continue polishing it or not, good job.

The osprey is a kick as vehicle and so is your render. It is mentioned several times in the book Splinter Cell
