Exclamation HP Futuristic Beretta 92 (92x) critiques please

Hello all, I'm relatively new to this site and just wanted to post my first completely finished texture gun model. I did this for a 3d modeling class for 1st year in game development . If someone would be kind enough to give some critic it would be appreciated very much.

All of the peices, fully animatable (i think?)

Wireframe: (high poly, around 5k polygons)

diffuse map

please some critics please. Even haters are welcome, i just need some sort of feedback whether it be positive or negative. Thanks

Modeling looks like a good start so far, but there is many space for optimizing.UVs could need some work. But I cannot say it exactely...

...please: never, really never use black backgrounds for your presentation, especially if your model is quite dark like your beretta

Some high-res pics (à la 1680*1050 pix or so) would be very sweet too.
And I want to see all of your textures, like spec and normalmap.

This will help you a lot by getting better feedback of your work.

Overall it's not bad. You edge flow looks good.

But your pics are really dark. You would be able to get better crits if you improved the lighting.
Also the damage/wear seems a little inconsistent. Some parts look like they barely have any wear, or it is just confined to the edges only.

I am no gun expert but some parts look very blocky (like the L-shaped part near the bottom).

And your UVs could probably benefit from overlapping some more sections. In fact even if you didn't do that, you could probably still scale up parts.

Good luck.

Model is Nice..You can create different versions from this Gun,each part is different...

In Model Many edges are unwanted..you can get many Details by Normal Baking...But as your 3rd class this is impressive work....you can improve it little more with Model & Textures.....

This is actually pretty sweet. Like others have said, normal maps make a huge difference.
