Station - UDK Environment
Hi
Here is the practical part of my bachelor project. All assets, particles, models and textures are created by me. Not everything is polished and finished as i would like to, but deadline means deadline .Video: Station - UDK Environment - YouTube Screenshots: Photo Album - Imgur Any Critique is welcome ![]() |

Ooo I'm liking this, love the little details at the ends of the tunnels, this shot in particular I really like Photo Album - Imgur even though its for a completed deadline have you thought about adding more into it?
The textures combined with the lighting is quite monochrome and its washing a lot of the detail out, small yellow hazard signs, red caged warning lights above doors maybe even a classic mid 90's flaming barrel could help to give the lighting and in turn the textures more of a push Hope that helps ![]() |

I agree with redappleivy. The environment is beautiful. It looks like its tied together very well. However, the monochromatic colors are taking away some its greatness. Maybe adding some danger/nuclear waste warning signs painted on those barrels. Something to put on those walls such as advertisements to help break up some of the color scheming and some added foliage coming in and out around the areas of that large tree root if it looks appropriate. Also give some color to the lights(red/orange) on the train cart. You could also try changing the color of some of the wall pieces or some of the metal to a blueish tint in the train cart area. Other than that, maybe add some more destruction and wear and tear where that tree root is growing. With a root that big, its bound to crush something. And the lighting does seems to wash out a bit of the details you that you've wonderfully created. The sun light seems to work well, but some of the inside lighting could possibly use some alteration. Other than that, as far as the environment creation and texture work goes, its looking pret-ty fine. Good job!
