Battle Bear Tillman

I have been learning 3D art for about year and a half now so there's still a lot of practice and things I have to learn but I was wondering if you guys could take a look at this and give me some critiques. I have just recently gotten comfortable doing high rez meshes and getting normal maps from them so this is me trying to expand my horizons. So please let me know how I am doing.

This character is based off a game called Battle Bears from a small company in Omaha. This characters name is Tillman.

Tri count is 2300 and includes a diffuse map, normal map, AO map, and a Spec map.
Modeled in Max, Rendered in Marmoset

I like the texture you made, is that handpainted?
I noticed 1 thing though, looking from side view I think that your character would fall over because he seems to be tilted back slightly, so his weight would make him fall over.
Also I think his belly could use some more polygons because it seems very square compared to the rest of his body.

Well technically it is hand painted but the majority of the work is done by the AO map. If you take the AO map off this model all you would see is base colors of black and white. The reference I followed showed him very clean and smooth so I felt there was no need to add bolts or dirt or scratches to the texture.
