looks great, yeah it's just the spec levels best to have more contrast from shiny to matte surfaces. The polished wood looks too new considering all the wear and tear you've applied. You could make it so areas with the most hand contact has no polish.
Also be nice to have some faint circular scratches on the panel where the rotating lever is as well. Maybe a few coins on the side just to finish it off.

Looking good! You might want to try upping the anti-aliasing in your renderer though. I personally like the new wood, but i agree that the spec needs some more variation and noise in it. Everything looks like its been recently dipped in lacquer.
Still, looks awesome! Keep up the good work. |

Hey guys,
I really a appreciate your comments and critiques. Big THANK YOU for that! I know there are still some things that I could improve, refine or add. But I also learned that you have to get done some time.. and even though all your critiques are right, I still think the cashbox looks appropriate for a portfolio piece and right now I think I will leave it like it is.. |
