Paintball player next gen

This is a next gen game character for a paintball game. He consists of 16k triangles, 2 * 2k maps and 2 * 1k maps. I tried to up the quality as max as possible to achieve the same level in most of EA's next gen game characters, like those that appear in their NBA and NFL games. Rendered inside marmoset.

i just use xsi's ultimapper to bake it. i believe its cleaner than xnormal, the AO is also of higher quality when i compared it. Just make sure you have a good and accurate distance in your settings when baking the hires to the lores version.

Very nice work and attention to detail. I dunno what engine would run that many big maps on a character but nice work anyway. If its for next next gen. Maybe better off baking out displacement maps for use with tesselation technology. Very cool!!

This is awesome! You should make team colors and have a UDK level dedicated to speed ball that matches the high res characters! Just an idea, Unreal would handle this dude and all his maps no problem.
