Sweet, looks amazing if not perfect. Very clean modelling. How did you go about creating the high poly version, through creating a large quantity of seperate elements for the bake?

I did the bake in max with a custom cage and a single non-exploded bake with a additional passes on objects that had errors.

Edit:
Just realized you were asking about the high poly.

The seperate panels were slightly tricky to manage with the odd angles and concave shapes. To get around this I built a low poly blockout mesh with all the facets fully defined. Then for each panel I split faces off, extruded, and did the sub-d work.

Excellent, very clean model. I like the texture work you have done, but it would be cool to see a post-battle version to with bullet holes and scuffs etc in

I watched this but you didn't explain how you created the cavity map in the psd.
Was it made from your existing flattened normal map through xnormal, or another way??
