Sniper Rifle
Hi Peeps
This is an old sniper rifle I recently finished. Its textured with a Diffuse map (512 by 1024) with some baked AO. This is a Max 2010 Screen capture The second peice is a water dispenser, with normals, diffuse and specular all at (1024 by 1024) - This is an unreal screen capture General C&C are very much appreciated...:P Thanks The Cube ![]() ![]() |

rifle: the stock looks too blocky. the barrel is way too big and thick. texture is pretty ok if a little bland and noisy.
water thingy: the normal map bake is pretty messed up. dunno how to fix it up a bit better but am sure the better artists around here will be happy to point you in the right direction. the diffuse texture seems to bare no relation to the geometry. you need to think about what the thing you are texturing is made out of and how is it going to age. scratches etc focussed on heavy use areas and edges. dirt in crevices and around the base. hope these help you out. |
