"The Last Green City" Game Environment (UDK)

This is my first in game engine environment. I created it while I was learning to use the Unreal Development Kit. I did all of the modeling (using Maya) and texturing (using Photoshop). Scene Setup and object placement was done using UDK.

It was a great learning experience, and any comments would be appreciated. I'm fine with Harsh Criticism, so don't pull any punches.

More samples from this project (and others) are available on my website: Pat Dunal: 3D Artist

*edit* I have also output a quick video capture from the environment: YouTube - The Last Green City

Great work dude, really atmospheric. Nice textures and lighting and a cool, unique setting.

Nice environment and pretty damm nice portfolio you got there. The normals on the concrete/stones are a bit too much. It kinda looks like you added the the dripping dirt in your normalsmap

As Matti said, the concrete normals are a touch strong, and for my tastes the bloom is over the top as well, but looks solid and well constructed/modelled otherwise.

This reminds me of Arkham Asylum. The area where you face Poison Ivy. Looks great though.

The environment looks great! I just love the mood going on. I have to say that I love your portfolio site. It's so simple and gets the art right in your face right away.

Normals was a tad too strong, but that would be easy fix. Great job!

Fantastic, very nicely done. I love the way it reminds me of nature vs. the in-organic, it's a great mix and laid out well. Saw the wire frames on your site, good work. Tinch too much bloom like said before, but the colour scheme is great. Looking forward to seeing more real-time work.

Nicely done also on the station piece, the telephones were well modelled and that Sims feel you have on the 2d ortho piece if great.
