Mine Cart

About 1100 tris.
texture maps are 1024x1024.
made up of just diffuse+specular (no need for normal)



will post the texture maps if requested- bit of a hastle to upload

Yeah, it looks kinda neat from here, but it's hard to tell when I'm squinting.

Post full render, wires and textures please.

textures have been scaled 50% for web purposes.
i updated the first post with a big, beefcake render.

The texture does not really define much.
You could use so much more detail on the edges and have some rusty bits here and there.
Some AO would do wonders too.

i thought it did have AO O.o
i didn't want to turn it up too high. edges dont need to be so badly scratched up-yes edges do recieve wear and tear but not so ridiculously.

That is not what i meant to say^

If i look at your texture i dont see any hints of AO other than your own painted in burns around some areas.
With edge detail i mean stuff like weldseams or some rust dripping down.
Dirt collecting on edges that sorta thing.

*edit*
also a bit of color differentiation would be nice.
Have some oily stains or charcoal streaks

great piece. but how did you achieve the rounded corner and edged effect on your lowpoly wich has sharp edges?
