They are interesting looking, they dont seem to tile too badly either. and it is a nice way of showing the textures simply, but they would look even better on meshes, particularly the hay.
Good work though, did you plan to use them on a particular scene? |

displaying them wrapped around a ball doesn't really show anything. using an angle that tilts the plane more towards the camera would help.
some of yours i can tell have some tiling issues. Concrete & dirty bricks need less distinct areas. The thing about tiling textures is they can have any distinct marks. Sometimes its hard to notice until you see them tiled a bunch. But depending on how you are using them it might not be an issue. |
