lovely stuff, and the polycount is fine for portfolio piece that is supposed to be in a train simulator
to the people compaining about the polycount - would you rather have this on your reel or an 8k train with small textures? really fantastic work

Yeah very nice models...
Also was just having a small heart attack at the poly count. I am so used to freaking out at anything above 7000 polys, that when I saw that I got a tad freaked... hehe! I currently aim to only ever have 60 000 polys on screen at one time... Nice work though!! ![]() |

3 2048 maps is probably way to high aswell, 1024 maps would probably be very ok. But it all comes down to what kind of focus these trains will be in. As a prop you probably would want them at 1024 at most.
