i have to say. i have NEVER had anythign on my aston desktop bar the wallpapers i get with the themes.. but this is well worth it. fantastic stuff alchemist

That looks amazing. Simply great. no crits.

There is one thing though. I'm doing a big efford to like the colors you picked, but they're not realy working imho. There's to much colors i think. Yellow, red, and then his blue head... The texture work itself is awsome. If you look at the pieces separatly, they look great. The gun and armor, nice damage there. The head looks nice to, saw that in the wip thread. Took the liberty to make a greyscale version of your first image, and imo it looks twice as cool...

But like Snipergen already pointed out, colors are a personal thing, so don't be to hart broken. What you have there looks like a first class unreal character... very nice job

Give us some big pics, dude!

I think his armor is far too glossy. It looks heavily worn and dusty/dirty and usually you'd expect a matte paint on military stuff... might want to make the spec highlights quite diffuse.

Aside from that, nice work. Can we see the flats, too?

I didnt really have much choice on the colours, its for a Warhammer game so I kinda had to stick to the proper Tau colours. Plus the yellow and red is kinda the reason its called a firewarrior.

and heres the flats for the body at 50%....
