[TF2] DM_Biosphere + shark model
Didn't want to make 2 threads so...
After cp_shock, I wanted a little quick map test for arch testing, this came out the compiler: ![]() Than i modelled a shark too for in the next custom map im going to work on. I really like the shark. What I would have done though, is combine the standard normalmap you have now, with a bake of a highpoly model (shouldn't be too much work, just add some edges here and there to make the SubD work). Oh and the teeth have to point backwards a little, and are smaller in real life I think.
I can't really say much about the map, you don't provide a link besides the sole picture, and I wouldn't have time to start TF2 anyway ![]() |

Nice job Jeroen
from what I can judge from the screenshot, it's looking nice. Those curved parts came out well.I don't mind the teeth being that big, TF2 has a cartoony feel to it after all. Thanks for the opinion. Yes the shark was modelled with TF2 in the head: between cartoony and realistic.
And not 'best map ever' I said 'my best map ever' ![]() Btw got normal maps working in source so I'm gonna make this map a beauty. (If I succeed) Its over-normal mapped but its just a test ![]() ![]() |
