Character - Spartan
hi all,
here the char inspired by ... dont know... maybe "300 spartan" ) add some differencies. its one week, 2500 polys, 2x512 textures; using Max, Photoshop, BodyPaint. another pic(wire,tex): Free Image Hosting - upload your photos now : spartan(low-poly)_add.JPG hm...hope that i add thumbnail right...) itll be great to see comments at any aspect ![]() |

hey mate
cool piece. im working on a high res spartan myself. I like the model and the textures. would be cool to see some wireframes and texture too. The only thing is its kinda hard to see the character in your render try using a lighter background for the image so the character is more clearly visible. Cheers. |

![]() it has a really cool siloutte and posture I watched 300 2 weeks ago, and i remember wanting to make a spartan model, guess you beat me ;P Your wireframe is really clean, very nice polyflow and your textures look great too ![]() a question tough, why only 512*512 :O 1k*1k would be way better ![]() the only thing that bothers me a bit is the dark render... give the man some light!! btw, is this model only for your portfolio or for an actual game/mod? otherwise, i would like to mess around with jim a bit in my game engine,rig him and make some normal maps and such ![]() |
