Joan of Arc
I modeled this character over the summer by following a tutorial in Creative 3D Magazine. I spent probably around 3 weeks modeling and then another 3 to paint the color maps.

The tutorial was originally written by Michel Roger and can be accessed in french at his website for free: http//mr2k.3dvf.net/
I didn't really spend too much time on the UVlayout so it ended up on 3 seperate sheets. I guess what I should do is chop everything up into smaller pieces and get it to fit on 2 sheets. ![]() |

Thanks for the encouragement
After talking with the Art Director at High Moon Studios, it sounds like character modeling is the most difficult position to get hired for. So I'm going to shift my focus to props or environments, which is a bummer because I really wanted to follow this model up with another character. But I like modeling no matter what it is so it should be fun. |
