Okay, I added some more personality to this Shyala besides the tattoo and necklace. I imagine the stick is good for poking for safe places to walk, but when you add the little orange guy on the end, it also becomes a 'food locator' of sorts. Unfortunately, there's not much out there.

Unfortunatly the attachment system is broken, you will need to upload your images to something like Photobucket or image shack.
Quick guide

skrobart: You do not have to use colour, black and white is fine.

I explored their anatomy a bit. Decided to go with the ninja/assassin oolark from my previous slide, although the well fed "samurai" type was also cool. If there was more time, I could definitely work a whole family of these guys, this challenge is so fun !

About their anatomy , nothing too bizarre here, I gave them weird tentacles on their heads (the ponytail) and a rudimentary back fins that gives a hint that maybe their predecessors came out of the water. Important detail here is that they have three fingers on their foots, which makes them perfect for some ninja flip flops

I'm kidding, but now that I said it, its not so bad idea, I'll give it a try

Clothes and weapons comes next, I hope I'll manage to finish this guy on time.

Been working on this for awhile on and off. Had quite alot of fun with them. Each character is kind of a concept on its own.

The first one go through the swamps on his little floating plank.. searching for food.

The 2nd one has evolved to have paddle like hands for swimming/paddling through the swamp.

And the last one is alittle more civalized..with abit of a scavenger/fishman vibe going on.

Btw where should we hand in the finals? Or do we just post them here?
