Haha! You had me all excited then!
Well apart from the massive poly counts of ZBrush I don't think Epic are that far behind with the rendering side of things if the Samaritan was anything to go by. But I agree it may take a while before we see that level of detail in production. Plus is was running on like 5 top end graphics cards from what I've read... Still very nice work though ![]() |

Yeah when I saw the Samaritan my knees were shaking. Phew. You are right about the hardware. What I find amazing about this whole caper is the crystal ball these guys must have. How the heck do you know what specs will be 3 years down the line when you are making a game? It' beyond me, in a good way ![]() Thanks wolfsage, and sorry for the deciption. |
