Sweet!

Is that rendered in UDK?! I must find out how.... time to watch some more of your vids
Oh and are you running DX11? I noticed that makes things look even prettier (when you turn it on!) but my graphics card at home dosn't support it

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO its a high poly rendered in zbrush and composited in photoshop. Gads, it will be like that in a couple of decades, that is not ingame.

Sorry for the confusion but thanks for the remark

Haha! You had me all excited then!
Well apart from the massive poly counts of ZBrush I don't think Epic are that far behind with the rendering side of things if the Samaritan was anything to go by. But I agree it may take a while before we see that level of detail in production. Plus is was running on like 5 top end graphics cards from what I've read...

Still very nice work though

Ha ha yeah, like they say in Dutch, I tried to make you happy with a dead sparrow!

Yeah when I saw the Samaritan my knees were shaking. Phew. You are right about the hardware. What I find amazing about this whole caper is the crystal ball these guys must have. How the heck do you know what specs will be 3 years down the line when you are making a game? It' beyond me, in a good way

Thanks wolfsage, and sorry for the deciption.
