Good lord! I have to do this! But it's so big! And I don't have time! And I'm already in the middle of a different project and... and... dammit!

sounds intresting.

also...

"Entrants must notify Dominance War organizer in writing at least one week prior to the publication of their work in any media."

...maybe its so that they make sure they buy the mag when it comes out

I don't really want to rig them, as iv moved over to max and don't know rigging in it. XSI is what i used to use.
over at 3dtotal one guy is going to rig and share his models. they are maya tho.

so anyone going to do max models!?

Wouldn't that be against the rules to have someone else rig? At least if you plan to send in your work.
I also have a problem with rigging in max though. But I'm pretty skilled in Maya. But animating in Maya is a pain... ;O.
Thought I'd look up some tutorials on Max rigging.

If you are going to use 3dsmax there is Character studio and CAT as animation systems. I found the best solution was to rig a lowpoly character with simple max bones using the skin modifier and FBX export it to motion builder for animation. You can then FBX export the model, rig back to max for rendering.

Good luck guys.

Ah yes, motion builder! I've only just touched that program very little. Liked what I saw.

So how do we enter? Do i just start posting WIPs? Here?

or on a different site? or do we just submit the final animation to the dom-war site?

unsure how this whole thing works
