Looking nice i really like the afterburner end of it and the 'singed' effect around the joining, my immediate crits would be the body itself is a bit too yellow which really clashes with the bright yellow smaller cone at the front and the black & yellow hazard strip maybe throwing in some complimentary colours like deep purples and blues would soften it out

That's looking good, I like. RAIs suggestion about complimentary colours is good but be careful, you want to keep it subtle I think. Maybe desaturate the body a tiny bit to make the hazard strips stand out. And the ring in the middle still needs to be scaled down imho

There are some great crits here already, so I just wanted to add that the verticle pipe looks out of place with the rust level (could be meant to be copper, but looks like rust). Maybe try making it look rust-ING, instead of rust-ED, by throwing in some silver and grey in patches. If its meant to be copper, I would ease back on the color contrast between the shades of brown.
It looks terrific so far!

Urgaffel I made the ring smaller like you said
. I extended the rear afterburner metal a tad further which worked out well I think. Got 2 small pieces left to texture and I think im going to call this done, I would change the color but everything I try doesn't seem to work well and for some reason my eye and other people I ask keep pointing at this yellow one so im going to put my hopes on it ;p![]() |
