Finally, the family stuff is over, and I can get back to work! I will have more up tomorrow, when I can actually have some real time. Bed time now.

Focusing on the high-res for now. Still putting in pieces. Going to start modeling the Low-res soon.

Looks pretty cool, but I'm not at all too sure about the sort of shell on the top of the engine, perhaps make it an actual part of the engine instead of sitting on top of the geometry?

That was an idea I lost faith in. I wanted to do something "Astro Boy-ey" with the design, but I didn't like where it was going.

A few more wires and doo-dads and I'll be done with the hi-res. Now its time to build the low-res, and start my material tests.

Side question: Forgive me, but I am new to the forum scene, and I was wondering how I can make my screenshots show up on the page instead of an attachment? I know its a rookie question, but please bear with me Thanks

Yeaah, I might have to change it. Since the ONE concept angle doesn't show the back of the engine, I figured I could get away with doing a helicopter turbine, which can put the exhaust out the sides (though the side-mounted exhaust pipes). I attached a picture i found to support my argument. The back actually handles the fuel-injection in that kind of engine.

That said, I'm contemplating losing the cap, in fear of roaming too far from the concept. They left us some wiggle room, but I might be wiggling a bit too much :P
