Looks a lot cleaner. If you can optimise something to get a few extra polys it would be good. The silhouette of the turbine is too flat now. You have some really nice details like the rings going around the turbine on the high poly version and I think it would be good if you could add it to the lowpoly as well.

heh it might be, have been playing a fair amount of TF2 recently and I just subconsciously picked it
![]() I'm using the xouli shader to display stuff got fed up of ue3's odd lighting quirks although I might still go back to it really don't know why its so shiny |

It's a bit dark yes, and the blue scratches looka bit odd. Why would there be blue scratches on an orange metal surface? Maybe you could ha ve a few more clearly defined areaas because now it all kinds of blends together a bit. The colours all merge a bit since there's no clear borders. Also, I'm not sure but are you using a blue light in the scene?

Theres a blue and orange spotlights either end and a fairly weak white ambient light in the middle, I'm still juggling with the lighting at the moment
The blue scratches are where are an overlay pattern has kind of been worn off over time with the orange paint as the original surface but i clearly need to make it a lot clearer ![]() |
