Damn,I was thinking that the limit for the contest was 3000 quads,now i notice that is 3000 tris

So,I have doing from the beggining the body,now with the half of the detail than before

a speed test made only for curiosity,the normal is hugly becouse i don't have uv mapped the model for now



i think i am in the good way (is the first time I try to take a normal from many piece of a model ) now i finish to add the low poly detail(i have other 400 tris to use ),then mapping & normal

I know this won't save you many polygons but you can take the end off the turbine, it's a hollow cylinder, open at both ends Highpoly has a crazy amount of detail, I hope you'll be able to carry it over to the lowpoly version with the normal and diffuse textures.

Thank you for the hint I am stopped in this 2 days becouse i have had to format the Pc & reinstall all, program,drivers

but now is almost finish,I can't wait,i want continue this model!!

low poly model finish,2998 tris (i can go down to 2994 i think,but no need)

Now is the time for the unwrap
