You have to use a DirectX shader like Xoliul's Shader.

You can also activate DirectX display at the bottom of standard material parameters (into DirectX Manager tab).

I'm not a big fan of Max either, but I just learned Maya first. It's worth learning

like said psylo, xoliul shader is the best coiche.
Download & copy that shader on Crograms files/Autodesk/3dsmax2010/maps/fx then on 3ds max pick a material slot, click on standard & change with a directx shader material, then load xoliul shader

PS:max is not bad,you need only to know the way to resolve the problems, becouse you can find problems even in the other programs

Max is the Devil! And thanks for the info, I'm working on it now. I'm just testing simple bakes, and see where the limit is before I get the script errors.

Re: GAMC #4 - Doolodes

Hello!
I have used the Maya and I have very happy to use it but it gives more then any other software. There are few others can make same as this like studio max, Pinnacle studio and many more.
If you see the tutorial for this then you really get the understand that how can you build this very easy.
