it depends on the width of your blades. Anyway I just have 18 triangles per blade, saving 36 tris won't help me a lot

Not much to crit really, it's looking good. I'm guessing the little support piece on the right hasn't had any highpoly loving yet? Oh yes, one thing that stands out a little bit is the pipe that goes from the box on the top down behind the support piece. It needs a few more segments to make it a bit more curved if you have a few polys to spare. It's a bit too angular now imo

first of all, thx for your com urgaffel. You're right I added a few segments to the pipe now it's fine

After a lot of problems with normal map baking I re-did my UVW layout 2 times and also had to modify my high poly.
Baking is now done and I started texturing. Just diffuse and normal map here. Still a lot of cleaning and detailing work to do. An advice for those who haven't started lowpoly yet : 1024*1024 map is very small for a big prop like this one. It's kinda hard with small details. ![]() |
