Triangles cap almost reached will have to do a few optimization to add more details in geometry.

You have two more fan blades then needed. That's a way to cut back. I have 16 blades rotated 22.5 each blade.

it depends on the width of your blades. Anyway I just have 18 triangles per blade, saving 36 tris won't help me a lot

I'm okay with the polycount, but thank for the com, it's always appreciated.

Not much to crit really, it's looking good. I'm guessing the little support piece on the right hasn't had any highpoly loving yet? Oh yes, one thing that stands out a little bit is the pipe that goes from the box on the top down behind the support piece. It needs a few more segments to make it a bit more curved if you have a few polys to spare. It's a bit too angular now imo

first of all, thx for your com urgaffel. You're right I added a few segments to the pipe now it's fine

Now a little update :

high poly finished (will add a few more details to normal map directly in photoshop)

And my UVW layout (I stacked every fan blades and hope it will not be too ugly) :

After a lot of problems with normal map baking I re-did my UVW layout 2 times and also had to modify my high poly.

Baking is now done and I started texturing. Just diffuse and normal map here. Still a lot of cleaning and detailing work to do.

An advice for those who haven't started lowpoly yet : 1024*1024 map is very small for a big prop like this one. It's kinda hard with small details.
