Agreed about the panel edges though I want to keep the edges really tight. I love the edges and am getting the look I want out of the corner in the high poly but I don't know how its going to translate to the normal map. Going to do some further experiments and render some normal maps with some test cubes to see what results I get for corners.

Did some experiments last night with edge creasing. I did slight bevel then prep for sub d refine once and then uncrease and sub d again. Was getting some really nice and tight smooth bevels last night in testing.

Thanks for the encouragement Copticmike! Not going to make it though. Got the normal maps for the floor tile done and here is my wall tile so far.

Lacks consistency but I learned quite a bit working on these. I'd like to redo the whole thing from the start tbh. Some other time though.
