Thats my first wall texture I've ever made but I have to say it makes fun so I will join the competition and bring my best.

atm I try to get the textures done
breaker is 256x1024
the right lower one is the original model

looks nice for first texture.

the wood looks like a combination of photoshop filters though. My advice would be to stay away from them. Either handpaint or use photo reference (much easier obviously).
There is nothing wrong with using photo reference even if you go for a more cartoony style or just want to add some noise (it looks better than photoshop noise anyday).

Looks very art Deco to me, and has a cool style twist. Your wood looks better now then in your old attempts. Keep it up.
