glad you like it..

alien will be definately giger inspired if i can pull it off
i dont want to do a plagiat though, you will see

here's the highpoly for the wall texture..

It's a layered build as you can see. (saves lot of time for stuff like that )

i will also add normal map details later in photoshop.

thx a lot fellas

here's the next step. I'm gonna cover pretty much everything. Maybe someone can get some use out of it.

Normal map ist baked now.

Diffuse Map Starting Point: Bake from a simple light setup (2 spotlights) combined with some Ambient Occlusion (not perfect with the layered highpoly but still worth it).
The highpoly has some very subtle procedural textures applied.

the normal mapping came out really sweet, i was surprised that the distanced of the individual meshes didnt keep back the detail. loving it.

Looking good.

The chickenwire type stuff isn't working for me, though. I'm not sure if it's because I can see the cabling through it or what... just seems very odd.
