There's not enough to give me an idea of what you want to make... but it's a start
I hope you finish it for the comp.

Thanks for the reply
I have finished the mesh, and can now start UVmapping it ( unless someone finds some flaws in my model) The concept of the vehicle: The driver is a electronics expert who has build cars in his past ( a man needs a hobby, right?) This car is build for quick getaways and rush-ins. His MO is as follows, he uses his radar ( the ball on top of the mast) to scan for victims or potentials enemies. Thanks to the radar he has enough time to plan his strategy long before anyone can spot him. He then uses his sniperrifle to take out any victims that could have some nice gear for him to use or to trade. His car offers no protection for him if he ever get ambushed (or worse!), so he has to keep moving and keep those barrels (water and gasoline) from going empty. The car is low so it is detected as late as possible. Other people have to rely on their eyes, he has his radar. But radars have limits too. So a fast getaway can save your life. |

That was fast
I like how close to the ground is and how detailed it looks but I don't really like the radar so much... looks more like a lolly-pop What's the tricount ?

The lolly-pop tower is gone
![]() I didn't like the look of it either, but it is recognisable as a radardome. Meanwhile I found some pictures of a radar-equiped Humvee, and I like that shape better. So here is the new radartower. The tri-count is exact 4000. cheers |

Anything new on this? Since the model is done all that is left are the UVs and texture... Keep us updated.

Thanks for the support
![]() I finished Uvmapping 2 days, and have started to texture it. Not much to show on the texture-front, but I got a whole day off to work on it. The AOmap is done and it shows no problems. (I Use the AOmap as shadows in my colormap) I did a pretty good job optimising the mesh, so I added alot of new details to the model and still have some polys to spare. I added a camouflagenet on top of the stuff in the back, with the clipmap it should show what is beneath the net. For now it is just solid. ALso alot more stuff has been put into the enginecompartment. That's it ![]() |
