Just letting everyone know I am still in the comp, I just have UV'ing to do on another seperate project before I can come back to the modelling on this. Can't wait to get back to it!

Oh btw I'm keeping quiet about my mounted machine gun, as it will be quite a cool feature I hope on what is otherwise a fairly unoriginal vehicle.

Well I've managed to get the other project sorted so its back to the Hilux. Just made an interior, added a race style seat and steering wheel and column, added rollbar with lamps (not attached yet). I've reduced the wheel polycount a bit, hopefully they still look curvy enough. Supercharger i've just done, i'll probably reduce it down a bit later. I have no idea what they look like really and photos were scarce so crits on that are especially welcome!

Next: gearstick, bolted up rear windows, gun.

Looks cool. The wheels are ok, you could probably reduce a little more if you needed but still keep them curved. My only crit is about the think on the hood (don't know how it's called... engine) it's way too small and looks like it's useless... can't do much I'd make it twice as big... maybe it stands out a little more.

Sweet, i knew it looked wrong somehow, couldnt put my finger on it. I've got some more done but I'll wait till i've sorted the gun before i post again, as the changes are minor atm.

Ok. One of the windows is now covered with metal, the other will have wood planks over it. I added a gearstick too to add to the interior. The gun is very WIP but you can just about get the idea i think. It's an Oerlikon 20mm cannon, which has some cool shoulder pads to lean into while firing. It's an AA gun, and it looks awesome when firing

Next : Finish cannon, plank-up other side winfow, riotshield if poss over front window. Add winch and bullbars. And fast

That blower still needs to be bigger, almost double the size! Make sure to check some refs. The gunner is gonna be really exposed back there. Why not build some sort of rear cabin for protection?

Yes, I agree... double the size on that thing. Why do you need to cover the windows ? It doesn't give protection against bullets or stuff like that... just blocks the view.

Cheers teddy, I did look for ref but i had trouble finding stuff - i found some med res shots at extreme angles, nothing that helpful As for the gunner, well i was thinking that this is more of a hashed together machine than a purpose-built vehicle. As it is, the gunner will need to be kneeling to operate the gun But I've already thought of a way to 'hide' the gunner a bit with an extra support rollbar and some tarp... hmm. I'll see how the count is looking once i've sorted the other bits out.

Andrei : Ok mate I was debating that one myself so that's cool by me. I'll up the charger size - my bad judgment on this.

Cheers for the comments guys
