Just got this nifty program. It's alot like sculpting once you figure out where everything is. Very simple and easy to use.

Just messing around with a shrek/oldmanish type character.

How do you subdivide individual selections without having everything turn blue? Also, can you change the shape of the sculpting tools to ovals and squares?

Nice stuff here, man. I like the tongue sticking out.

When you make a local subdivide don't worry about the parts that have become blue. Sculpt away and subdivide all the areas you want to detail up. When you are ready to do a screen cap, go to Windows -> Preferences -> Levels -> Inactive Levels -> Set it to none and the blue goes away.
