Medieval Weapon - Specifications & Rules
![]() Theme Braveheart, Gladiator, 300, the time is now for a competition on Medieval Weapons ! This should be a complete model from all angles and be something that you primarily use for assault (i.e. shields don't count). The term weapon is broad, so if you're up to making a crossbow or catapult, feel free to do so ! Full fledge vehicles such as a Warships are however excluded. In terms of style, Realism / FPS. Some of these items are listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_medieval_weapons Prizes Bragging rights ![]() Specifications Maximum Triangles - 250 Maximum Textures 512 x 512 Diffuse 512 x 512 Specular (optional) 512 x 512 Bump / Normal (optional) 512 x 512 Alpha (optional) 512 x 512 Glow (optional) Submission Guidelines Entry Deadline is the End of Sunday the 18th of February GMT +-0 as time zone. Work in Progress should be posted by yourself in a seperate thread with Competition and Username as thread title, i.e. "Competition #6 - requiem2d". This is not required, but if you are working with complex normal maps or detailed textures, you may want to receive some advice before submitting. Final Submissions should be posted by yourself in the thread titled "Competition #6 - Medieval Weapon - Submission". Provide the following -

You can do whatever you like, as long as it has a medieval look, and fits the time. (which excludes almost all weapons with firepower i think)
I think i'lll make the common battle axe. Chop chop. good luck to you all!
