Well I didn't know if I was gonna post any of this, but I started a crate of my own. I'm still pretty noobish when it comes to modeling. Anyway here is my higher poly version of my crate. Textures, and everything are still in the works.

Well what I have done with the texture is nothing great, but I'm still learning so I guess I can only get better at it. It's taken me the whole day to get as far as I have with it. There's maybe 12 or more hours involved in this texture, but it's the best I can do at the moment, anyway enough rambling here it is. Crits are very welcome. I've still got to add the spec map, and maybe a normal map.

As I said - you really need to define some areas - the most noticable is that keypad, I understand it's WIP but might as well try to help: I don't see the need for the extrusion when you can't really see it because they skin just eats up any defined corners - try to bring out your edges or changte teh colours slightly so that you can tell there is an extrustion - otherwise you could have just done it with a normal map
