Very nice. I would give a little more contrast. Also.. the glowing thing looks more like fog to me... maybe it is because it has too much grey... it is too desaturated... but maybe it's just me

first of all thanks to all the crits and comments
!@Buddy: I've never played poke646 (Had to google what game that is...I dont even have halflife 1...lol). I dont overlap often but at a crate (imo) it is mostly neccesary if there are 6 sides textured or just 3 because a player only sees max. 3 sides at once so the third eye (in his brain) cant compare them. When he changes the view he cant compare the same looking the two surfaces(because the same looking side is on is on the other side of the cube). So you got more uvw space when you texture only three and this three have got a better resolution (which makes it look less blurry and the normalmap turns out better). Thats why I overlaped the texture (sorry for the bad english I hope you can understand it :S...)final maps (now with scratches): ![]() + (click on the image....sorry for the specular blinks erorrs) Last edited by CaptainCock; 06-01-2007 at 04:20 PM. |
