looks pretty good, the nose looks very small though, on purpose. i guess the collar goes over there?

Great Stuff Ben! The brushing looks really good. I dig the style. Can't wait to see this guy finished. Did you have front/side views for this one or just winged it?

Looking good, I like the assymetrics on the face details, the eye sockets might be a tad exaggerated? looks a bit like he's wearing a mask atm, could do with some smoothing out .

Jelmer - Yep, the collar/mask thing covers the entire nose.

Phantom - Cheers mate. I used some generic front and side views for the face then took the low poly into Zbrush and moved the proportions around a little bit. I just winged the armour, which is why the sillhoutte is so crap

Pankake - Thanks, the eye sockets are a bit drastic. After you posted I did a quick test with a normal map and it doesnt look quite as extreme when its applied to the low poly mesh.
I'm basing the character on an old guy from my work who used to be in the paratroopers and looks like a double-hard bastard. I actually asked him if I could take pictures for reference and he called me a fag, and told me to f*** off. So I'm just working from memory
