Battlefield of the Future Bust

Theme

Near future, distance future, utopian, apocalyptic, robots, mutants. If you can explain it, you can do it! Remember, the concepts are almost limitless. Don't be afraid if you don't normally model characters. Full face helmets, gasmasks and robots are good examples of workaround for this.

What is a Bust?
The generally refers to the Head and section of upper torso (as limited as the collar or upper shoulders or as far down as the waistline)

Examples:

Much of Johny's portfolio includes busts:

A base for the bust is not required, but can add a lot to the look of the final piece.

I've never textured anything in my life, but as Chris said "therein lies the challenge". I'll probably take a stab at it
This should be good motivation to get me to learn to make an entire asset, with the textures and all.

Do the bust stands count towards the poly/texture count? I would assume they don't but I figured I would ask.

Might as well get some character practice in

I definately hope not, or there should be a specific limit to polys in the stand. Just something o we can have a little bit of space to make somehting considered to be optional. ^_^

Since the base is not required, it should be considered optional and not a part of the final specs. Same as building a base for an entire character.
