and i was also wondering, should i do another colour instead of black? any suggestions

the black looks good in my opinion, it looks as though it needs something to break up the black area though, some sort of highly specular metal or a spot of colour maybe

Are you planning a coloursheme like black yellow, black blue or whatever? Looks good yet but I would change the kind of scratches. They look like metal scratches but the black surface like plastics. Anyway It's going to be interesting
