Hi
I've been looking for a new place to live so its been hard to get a start on this. I've been sketching a few ideas out at work and settled for this double barrel shock rifle. I've got an fairly clear idea in my head but when I put it down on paper from the side it kept coming out looking like a super-soaker, but it wont look like that in 1st person........ hopefully So heres the concept I came up with at work today, there's an inner core in the rifle that you cant really see on this sketch ![]() Last edited by benclark; 04-09-2006 at 05:30 PM. |

There's no reason to model any part that doesn't appear in the first person view as it eats into your resources.
Personally, I plan to model the whole of the gun just to have a 3rd person pick-up version, and to be able to present the weapon in its entirety. Just for fun, and who know, maybe get it into a game someday. |

Looks pretty cool Alchemist101! I like the design and translation to 3D. At the moment it looks quite good from the side, but I imagine the 1st person view looks slightly undetailed. Maybe you could post a picture ...
