Ok this is what i have so far, im sure you will get the idea now:
![]() Ok let me explain... This beast is going to need 2 hands to work, it has 2 massive machine gun barrels which have the same rate as the mini guns (fires the same amount of bullets per minute :P), 2 laser sight aims(where the wire goes to the screen), ammo and temp counting screen, the joystick is used for firing the weapon and the little tunnel area for the right hand is holding the main weapon steady while aiming with the lasers and firing. And yea thats what i have so far, more details on the model coming soon thanks - Fuad Last edited by Abdi87; 04-09-2006 at 01:29 PM. |

Reminds me of big, clunky retro-sci-fi. Before Alien came along and made everything look possible, old sci-fi like Battlestar Galactica, Logan's Run, etc was all ridiculous shiny boxes with giant buttons on it (example: the conference phone on Darth Vader's chest). Maybe not the best style to approach for an Unreal based competition.
The weapon aiming system is completely counterintuitive. You have to hold it steady with one hand while aiming it with another?! Just point it with you right hand and shoot! Wrote this before, so I'll paste it here too, “Unreal weapons never show the hands. This is due to the high variety of characters the user can choose from.” |

You've got a good start going, in other words, remove some things and do some more unreal. The aiming system can be done away with, but you can keep the main weapon and start adding some curves and possibly a grip for the left hand to hold the gun steady. Also a 3rd barrell-set would be nice. Also stylize the left side of the body, very visible ingame
