Competition #16 - Pelvic
Hi
My drawing is not up to much but this is a sketch of my Boss monster. ![]() It kind of a giant wall slug with tentacles that is found in caverns under ground it has no eyes so the tentacles help it sense its environment and its head can lash out at it’s pray, the tentacles will also be able to rap around columns in the cavern which it then shakes lose debris from the roof. And this is the model I still need to attach the tentacles to the body and im not happy with the head/snout. I have not done to many organic models as I spend my time texturing and doing environmental models so any tips and crits will be much appreciated. ![]() ![]() Thanks Pelvic |

You seem to have used up about 2k of your 3k budget, depending on what you're gonna do with your environment you might want to consider reducing the poly count a little.
Just some ideas, as it's attached to the wall (right?) he could maybe do wither longer and/or more tentacles to pull his prey in. You can have carcasses scattered around the environment, just make it look as repulsive as the monster is, bones, slime-lines, fungus, etc. |
