Competition #16 - BritBrit
Okie dokie! So I decided to go with that sort of fantasy platform game kinda fun similar to that of Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Sonic, etc.
Here's a rough concept for the temple ruin and the boss that the player comes upon. You run up the ramp and place the gem that you got from some previous challenge in the game into the space in the rock wall. Then the big carving of the Tiki Monkey glows with life and pops right off the wall as you try to run through the new opening between its legs. There's an old crate or two full of goodies when you smash them and you can use the ramps to get some height advantage on the Tiki Monkey and hit that weak spot on his back. Errm, I wanna put some other props in there just so it's not so empty, but I don't want to clutter it either. Some rough modeling should help with all of that though I think ![]() |

Yeah dude. I like it. There's something about Aztec-styled ruins that gets me hyped up - probably something about growing up watching Indiana Jones
![]() Post up some 3D!

*sigh* I was worried this would happen, and sure enough it did.
I won't be able to finish up my piece for the competition. I'll have to head out of town until Monday for a family thing ![]() I will definitely still be around to give feedbacks and encouragement to the other artists though! And I'll be back for the next comp. Good luck to you all. -Brit |
