Competition #16 - glynnsmith
You don't even know how long I've wanted to do a Metal Gear Solid-style environment.
Spent a couple of hours tonight working on it. Currently at 2k-ish tri's, but I haven't gotten rid of any of the back-facing tri's yet, which should almost half the tri count. Basic Max materials applied to sketch in values. Lighting's only sketched in for now. I've still got a bunch of ideas and I'm planning the Boss Monster in my head. It's making me drool, dude! ![]()

Nice one, guys
![]() I couldn't go any further with getting my boss idea down. Taking heavy inspiration from the Doom 3 Pinky demon and an old image I've had in my references folder by a dude caled Chico! This guy won't be happy to meet our hero, once he raises him on the lift, interupting his sleep ![]() ![]() Might have to rethink the gattling cannon. I like it, but I want this to be a boss that jumps around the level, smashing stuff up. Hmmmm. Suggestions?
