About that newspaper, I think either way you have it is fine, but as a suggestion, I do agree with psycholord that it should be in german.

I know it doesn't say a whole lot, but one thing I love in video games is finding something that I don't know the meaning of, and then reading somewhere later about it's relevance in the game, even if it's not a huge issue inside the game itself, it still has that "oh so thats what that was" factor.
However not everybody thinks like that and people tend to just look at things like the newspaper and go "eh, some wierd language" before walking off :P

So yup, either way is fine, it's not really a huge issue.

Looking forward to more work

I don't see why the paper should be german, especially if it was an actual front page at the time. Why shouldn't Hitler read it, wouldn't it be ironic? His enemies, the allied forces, think he's dead. He's probably grinning behind his desk reading this while thinking of his evil masterplan or something, that's a possible startpoint for a game?
Other than that: 'Hitler dead' needs less texture space to be readable.

That's true as well.
You could of course have several newspapers with the extra texture space, all of them telling a story of some sort.

So you could have that english newspaper then have another one saying something something in relation to nazi undead experimental formula's or whatever.

Just another suggestion.

The paper shouldn't be in German. The juxtaposition of undead zombie hitler and a newspaper saying HITLER DEAD is humorous and would be ruined if the paper was in a language that the majority of the audience could not read.
