He can't be a zombie if he shot himself in the head whilst he was still human. The only way to KILL a zombie is to headshot/decapitate. Everyone knows that.
I thought this scene looked great until undead Chaplin rose up The way you've bought in Hitler as a zombie just seems like it's for lols and shock value (which kind of feels a little immature and clichéd, now) and for no other discernable reason. I think that's what's off about it.That being said, the art is very nicely done. The first shot of the chair blew me away, tbh. |

Hmmm, well, not ALL zombies die from a shot to the head, some zombies in literature were headless remember, or they had a head, but their brain was missing.
Besides, that'd be a bit odd, shooting zombie hitler in the head and killing him just like that :P I reckon it could be some sortof boss where you'd have to travel all the way up his office while he throws grenades at you and shoots at you, and once you get to his desk, you kick it over and it falls on him and crushes him or something. |

Calm down, nobody here was attacking your work.
I think it's great what you have done, the texture space usage is very nice, I was shocked to see how little space had been used, keep it up, i look forward to more. Last edited by Natace; 23-11-2008 at 09:33 PM. |

I completely disagree Natace.
Dude, your UV maps are wasting SOOOOO much space. I was wondering why it looked low-res. What else are you expecting to create? Why did you clone the arms? Why aren't you tiling the sides of your desk? UV Maps are a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece will fit if you have all the pieces the begin with ![]() Last edited by AdamtehGreat; 23-11-2008 at 10:15 PM. |

The reason I say it is nice because it leaves him room to add more if need be, which I assume he was going to do.
But yes, if that was his final texture space usage, it would be questionable, however i'm looking at it from a WIP perspective. |

this can be solved through either partial UV extraction or mesh over it. It all depends on what you can afford: Texture space, or tris. I'm also noticing that you're using maps with a power of 2 (ie. 64x64) That carpet could very well be 8x128, tiling, leaving you with a higher res result. Quote:
![]() And I'm giving you some constructive feedback here mate (or at least, trying to ) |
