Hahaha I like the idea just because in my mind, it would be really funny to watch someone parachuting down towards you with a chainsaw. It's like the austin powers thing of a steam roller coming at you at 3mph. If that is the case, as far as weapon placement, I would give him a few chainsaws, maybe a little tool box on his hip for repairing his chainsaws, and then just have him either dangling the chainsaws below him or holding them like he is about to hit ground and then tear some people apart? food for thought!

Certainly looks like a flea to me and I like its shape so far,
have you finished modeling? because it should have two more legs/arms so there is six altogether.
The harness for the Chute should be forward too, because the balance does not look quite right either.

LRS3d: I realize that I am missing a set of legs, but I seem to remember it being stated somewhere in the later pages of the rules thread that minor changes of anatomy and removal of limbs is allowed as long as the model is still recognizable as whatever insect it is based on, and from the feedback I've received so far that seems to be the case. So for the sake of saving tris I am sticking with 4 legs unless I read something wrong.

Nuclearpeanut, I had asked a similar question about removing a set of legs earlier with no response, perhaps that means there's no issue with it. But to my knowledge, you're remembering correctly, as long as your character can still be recognized as the insect you've chosen and it's justified in your design, should be ok.
